The Fair Credit Reporting Act course covers compliance requirements under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Students will learn about the purpose of the FCRA and review the types of transactions and exemptions covered under it. The course also teaches students the requirements, responsibilities and rights outlined under the act, including special guidelines for the sharing of consumer information between affiliates, as well as the actions students must take to help ensure compliance with the FCRA.
