Fundamental Trust
Education
Designed for students starting out in their career or in need of a refresher, the ABA National Trust School is a value-packed five-day residency program that provides a solid foundation and overview of technical trust topics. Students will learn the fundamental concepts of trust administration, planning options, and solutions to client problems as they develop a deeper understanding of fiduciary requirements.
The ABA National Trust School covers the essentials, helping students become more confident in interacting with clients, and developing skills in assessing risk, working with grantors, legal professionals, co-trustees, and beneficiaries.

2012 Class Schedule
Registration will take place on
Sunday, October 7 between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Orientation and
first classes will run between 12:30 and 5:30 PM. Classes will run Monday
- Thursday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. Friday classes are scheduled from 8 AM
to 2:00 PM. Attendance is required at all classes to earn a diploma or
certificate.
Admission Criteria
Graduation Criteria
To receive a diploma, students must complete the two pre-session online
courses, attend all classes and actively participate in all in-session case
studies.
ICB Accreditation
The
ICB CTFA Exam**
The ABA National Trust School provides preparation for the Institute of
Certified Bankers (ICB) Certified
Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) exam. The exam is offered onsite the last day of the school.
